Ingredients:


 1 slice of whole-grain bread
 1 ripe avocado
 1 egg
 Chili flakes (to taste)
 Salt and pepper (to taste)
 Optional: lemon juice, olive oil, fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley)


Instructions:


1. Toast the Bread:

   Toast the whole-grain bread slice until golden and crispy.


2. Prepare the Avocado:

   Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

   Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy but still slightly chunky.

   Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice if you like for extra freshness.


3. Poach the Egg:

   Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer.

   Crack the egg into a small bowl.

   Stir the water to create a gentle whirlpool and carefully slide the egg into the center.

   Cook for about 3-4 minutes for a runny yolk or longer if you prefer it more firm.

   Remove the egg with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.


4. Assemble the Toast:

   Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread.

   Place the poached egg on top.

   Sprinkle chili flakes, a little salt, and pepper over everything.

   Optionally, drizzle with a bit of olive oil and garnish with fresh herbs.


5. Serve Immediately:

   Enjoy your healthy, flavorful Avocado & Egg Toast!
